To My Friends in the Business,

I am pleased to share with you an honor which was presented to me April 17, 2008 at LeMont Restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. The Media Association of Pittsburgh presented me with its highest honor, the Outstanding Achievement in Media Award for Radio. Here is how they describe the award:

This event recognizes the lifetime achievements of distinguished individuals in the categories of radio, television, agency/allied fields, as well as in outdoor, magazine, newspaper, and internet (OMNI), a new category added this year. The awards not only recognize the winners for their significant contributions within the market, but they also celebrate their lives as outstanding overall individuals.

Even though it is a lifetime achievement award, I wish to assure you that at age 50, I am not yet ready to retire!

It was a special evening for me and my family. I wanted to share with you the honor.
