Submit News [+]UI and DI alumnus Robert Novak dies
Posted by: Kit Donahue on 2009-08-18 16:32:48We've had several alums contact us to tell us about Robert Novak's death earlier today. Mr. Novak was inducted into the Illini Media Hall of Fame in the fall of 2007 and came back to Champaign for the celebration.

As Director of Distance Education for Northwestern University's Prosthetics-Orthotics Center, Fox has been responsible for the implementation and administration of Mediasite for her 150 annual graduate students, in addition to alumni and outside clients who use NUPOC as a hosting service. Using Mediasite, NUPOC has transitioned from a traditional, onsite education program to a blended learning program, increasing annual enrollment by 50 percent.
Coming up next for Fox will be the establishment of online and blended continuing medical education programs, and the planning of NUPOC's first-ever "Hall of Fame." At their March 24, 2010 gala event, NUPOC will induct baseball and broadcasting great Ron Santo, Assistant Secretary of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs Tammy Duckworth, and violinist Rachel Barton Pine.
