Submit News [+]UI and DI alumnus Robert Novak dies
Posted by: Kit Donahue on 2009-08-18 16:32:48We've had several alums contact us to tell us about Robert Novak's death earlier today. Mr. Novak was inducted into the Illini Media Hall of Fame in the fall of 2007 and came back to Champaign for the celebration.

Editor William Roetzheim selected DI alum (2006, 2008-2009) Aaron Geiger's individual poetry selections for publication through Level 4 Press in two collections. Geiger's poetry details writing a short story, then condensing the entire story into 8-12 lines, featuring subjects involving stark Americana realism. Geiger is currently working on a collection of poems that detail the harsh conditions of a Civil War blockade ship and the sugarcane plantation slaves that it rescued.
