2008 HALL OF FAME WEEKEND LINE-UP

FRIDAY, OCT. 10
Welcome reception – 5-8 p.m.

We’re starting the weekend off with an opening night reception on our 4th floor balcony. Enjoy a drink and some light refreshments while taking in the spectacular view of Campustown. If this is your first time to our new building, we will have staff members on hand to give you an informal tour.

Campus Bar Crawl – 8:00 p.m.
For those of you who'd like to keep socializing, you're in luck! Students and alums will close out the balcony party and head out on a bar crawl to some of the favorite campus stomping grounds, past and present. (Can't make it to town by 8:00? No problme. We will be posting the bar crawl schedule here and you can join the group somewhere along the way.)

SATURDAY, OCT. 11
Tailgate Tent Party – 9-11 a.m.

Alumni and staff are invited to join us at our tailgate tent party prior to the game. Our tent will most likely be on the west side of Memorial Stadium just north of Kirby on First Street – look for the WPGU banner. There will be employees at the tent entrance so identify yourself as an Illini Media alum and they'll steer you to the alumni group. Music, complimentary food and drinks will be available for you to enjoy. We know it's early, but try to stop by!

Homecoming Football Game – 11 a.m.
Join us as Illinois takes on Minnesota for Homecoming. We have 50 tickets available on a first come, first serve basis for $25 each. Due to the high demand for tickets this year we need to limit tickets to two per alum. Order early! You can’t beat the price, so they will likely go fast. Deadline to order tickets is Friday, Sept. 12. Note: We won't know where our seats are for awhile so if you'd prefer to buy tickets directly from the Athletic Association, single game tickets go on sale July 22 at 9 a.m. – 217-333-3470.

Illini Media 2008 Alumni Hall of Fame Dinner
Social hour 6-7 p.m., Dinner 7 p.m.

Please join us to honor another prestigious group of Illini Media alums and to reacquaint yourself with friends and former co-workers.
