COMPLETE RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- Ticket buyers need not be present to win.
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket.
- Online ticket sales end 10/8/08 at 11:59pm.
- All raffle ticket sales will end on 10/11/08 at 6:30pm.
- Each winner will be determined by random drawing held on 10/11/08 immediately before the Hall of Fame Dinner at 512 E. Green, Champaign IL.
- Each winner is responsible for any taxes or other applicable charges.
- Prizes will be available to the winners during normal business hours starting Monday, October 13, 2008.
- All prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days.
- The drawing is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Illini Media Company reserves the right to postpone or cancel the drawing at its discretion.
- Proceeds support Illini Media and their mission to enhance the education and training of students in the field of media, sales, technology and business.
- The drawing is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Illini Media makes no express or implied warranty as to the prize.
- All raffle ticket sales will end on 10/11/08 at 6:30pm. Any funds received or tickets issued after 6:00pm on 10/11/08 are considered a request for entry and does not constitute an entry in the raffle until deemed so by an authorized representative of Illini Media.
- No prize may be substituted or exchanged for the cash value.
- The purchase price of a raffle ticket is $5 each or 5 for $20. A "purchase" shall not occur and be binding on Illini Media until funds delivered for the same have cleared the bank. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Illini Media.
- The IRS has ruled that a raffle ticket is NOT tax deductible, but you should check with your tax advisor for additional information.
- If an entrant's check or credit card charge is dishonored prior to the drawing, the entry ticket will be declared invalid, losing any claim to a chance or winning and shall remain so until a new payment is received by Illini Media. All check or credit card charges found dishonored after the drawing must be honored. A $20.00 charge will be assessed for non-sufficient funds or stop payment checks. There shall be no refunds for any reason unless specifically provided for in these rules.
- In addition to announcing winners at the drawing ceremony, all winners will be notified in writing within 7-10 business days after the event.
- Names of all winners will be posted at Illini Media offices and will be posted on Illini Media's website on or by 10/17/08.
- The purchase of a raffle ticket does not entitle the purchaser entrance to the Illini Media Hall of Fame Dinner.
- The decision of Illini Media will be final and in its sole discretion in all matters pertaining to this raffle.
- Illini Media's raffle is operated under City of Champaign license # BL-3309.
